How important is it to you that your partner be accepted by your family and friends I think it is important that family and friends accept the partner you have chosen. I believe that if your family and friends do not accept your partner they may be seeing something in your partner that you are not seeing. If my family and friends did not accept my partner, I would ask them why to see if there might be something I am not seeing.
