How long do you wait

I’ve been dating a guys for about 5 weeks. We text or talk daily, go to dinner or meet at one of our places once or twice a week. The chemistry is amazing. The sex is amazing and we get along very well all around. We haven’t found any topics we don’t agree on. He has two children and I have one. We have both been divorced several years and not been dating much over the last year. At 42 I don’t have the slightest idea what the next step is when kids are involved. Our kids are in middle school and high school so we don’t just want to get them involved in each other’s lives right away but at our age when is it normal to expect that if it’s going to be something real that he would let me meet his kids and parents and want to meet mine. I don’t want to ruin a good thing by pushing to fast but maybe this is all he wants and it’s not all I want. I want a future with him and if doesn’t I don’t want to get my heart broken. How long do I wait to talk about it?

Try to send hints once in a while and hopefully your guy can detect the subtle signals you'll be sending.
